Women Agency for Resilience and Transformation (WART)
WART is fully registered under the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) in accordance with the 2016 NGO Act of South Sudan.
Women Agency for Resilience and Transformation (WART), is a women-led national NGO founded in 2017 by South Sudanese professionals dedicated to building women’s resilience to shocks and stressors that impact livelihoods, nutrition, health, and development through empowering and building the capacity of women in South Sudan.

Our Programmatic Areas
Through our tailored programs, we aim to address the unique challenges faced by women and girls, fostering resilience and transformation for a brighter future.
Protection (GBV and Child Protection)
Provide holistic GBV training for survivors and communities; teaching prevention skills and transformative mindset skills.
Food Security and Livelihoods
Building womens' capacity in agriculture to enhance productivity and self-resilience.
Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH)
Enabling women and girls to access safe water; and training on safe hygiene practices.
Health and Nutrition
We conduct screenings and ensure timely treatment of acutely malnourished children; and empower communities through awareness-raising activities about nutritional food benefits.
Education and Peace Keeping
Advocating for girl child education against early and forced marriage; and providing war and conflict survivors with support to lead their lives empowered, and with dignity.
